The aim of this report is to provide detailed recommendations for the LEGS Advisory Committee on how nutrition can be better represented in the revised edition of the LEGS Handbook and the wider
LEGS programme. The paper presents the outcome of a literature review that summarises key issues for livestock and nutrition. It also presents three short case studies illustrating impacts of livestock emergency responses on nutrition.
