Global Action Plan Dashboards
The dashboard reflects country-level commitments towards the prevention and treatment of child wasting. Core targets, priority actions, population groups and budgets have been identified for select prioritized geographic regions. All roadmaps have been endorsed by national governments.
Global Action Plan Development Process
All countries with a high prevalence of wasting are encouraged to join the Global Action Plan on Child Wasting by developing a national roadmap for achieving national targets on the reduction of wasting.
While this is a government-led process, UN agencies that are signatories of the GAP are available to support ministries and key stakeholders in each context. The development of a country roadmap demonstrates national leadership and commitment towards the prevention and treatment of child wasting.
