Global Action Plan Dashboards
The dashboard reflects country-level commitments towards the prevention and treatment of child wasting. Core targets, priority actions, population groups and budgets were identified for select prioritized geographic regions. All roadmaps were endorsed by national governments.
Global Action Plan Development process
All countries with high prevalence of wasting are encouraged to join the Global Action Plan on Child Wasting by developing their national roadmap towards achieving national targets for the reduction of wasting prevalence. The process is government-led and UN Agencies signatories of the GAP are present to support ministries and key stakeholders in each context. Developing a roadmap is a demonstration of national leadership and commitment towards the prevention and treatment of child wasting.
